TheBoxbreakers March Ultimate Multi-Sport Group Break

Do you collect only Baseball cards? Maybe only Basketball cards? It doesn't matter if it's just one sport or 3 sports... have we got a break for you! Introducing the return of "The Ultimate Multi-Sport Group Break!" Don't ignore this one just because you don't collect multiple sports as if you read the details you'll see this can be a perfect break for you no matter what sport you collect! Here are the details;

You join us by selecting any available team from among 3 sports (Hockey will be added next month if we can fill). That's 92 options to choose from and once you lock in on that team you can retain them for as long as you choose to continue. Once you pay the $95 team fee we will randomize our list of participants and you will then get to draft a 2nd team. That team can be from any sport so if you only collect Football, just choose 2 FB teams and you're good to go. If you want to mix it up and draft your local Baseball team to go with your FB team, go for it. Anyway you choose it is fine!

I am setting an aggressive goal of filling 45 slots which would allow us to break some incredible high end products from the 3 sports and mix in the last 3 years of products so as many teams as possible have a good chance of hitting something nice. This group would break only every other month (opposite that of the Ultra High End FB Group) and again, you would get to retain one team per slot from one break to the next.

We're up to 40 claimed teams. Now the tough part of filling the final 20. If anybody has any contact with Hockey or Basketball collectors we have a ton of great teams open as those are the sports least claimed. Spread the word so we can fill this!

Thanks Mike, I saw that. Just debating whether to try to replace the product or it may depend on how quickly we fill as we need some extra time on this one to get those last 19 slots filled. We'll keep an eye on it and decide what to do as we get closer. Thanks for the heads up!

I think a randomization of the draft slots if the fairest method. If we don't get some more takers what we may have to do is drop the Hockey portion for this first month and drop down to 45 slots. That would leave us with 4 slots left to fill and perhaps one of the Hockey owners may consider taking on another team from a different sport? If not, I understand and you would still retain the rights to your Hockey team for the next break so we could try it again. Realistically that looks to be the way this is going.

That didn't take long.

So I am officially removing Hockey from just this months break as we just haven't been able to fill that portion. I have emailed all the Hockey owners and they will retain the rights to their teams and we'll try it again next time but this break will proceed with the other 3 sports which means we are at 45 slots to fill and keep the rest of the product lists the same. With only a couple slots left to fill (which I'll take if nobody else adds by then) it's time to get payments in so we have time to run the draft.

Still have some good teams out there for anyone wanting to join us!

I know, I was too. I'll keep trying to find more takers so we can add it back in for future months. I'll add the Phillies for you...just two more slots to fill!
