Group Break Guidelines Empty Group Break Guidelines

Post by Admin Sun Feb 10, 2013 12:45 am

We hope to see this thread explode with lots of group break options and we are keeping things pretty lose in an effort to encourage folks to give it a shot however we need to establish some guidelines so please read through the guidelines as if these are not followed your thread may not be approved. If you are new to hosting group breaks but want to give it a shot you are welcome to try it out for size. We do not require that all participants be members of this site but it certainly helps if they are willing to join. Please be realistic about the breaks you propose. If you are new to it you may want to start off slow until people get to know you and can trust that you will run a smooth break. Here are some guidelines;

Please clearly state how your break will be posted (Live Stream, Youtube, Old School, etc.)
Please clearly state how multi-player cards, college uniformed players, or non-sport hits may be awarded. For instance is it based on positioning of the player on the card, are all owners of a team on the card put into a random drawing, etc..
Try to post a payment deadline and estimated break date whenever possible.
Please clearly state if all base cards will be sent out as part of the break.

For those considering joining a group break;

If you sign up for a group break you are committing to participate so late drop outs on a repeated basis will not be tolerated. Don't sign up if you can't afford it.
Know your break host! TheBoxbreakers group cannot be responsible for the actions of all members of the board so before sending your hard earned money to someone try to know who they are, see examples of their previous break history, and only join those breaks you feel you can trust!
Please understand that joining a group break is a gamble and it's quite possible that your team will not have any cards pulled. You accept this possibility when you sign up for a break.
