TheBoxbreakers June 2013 Hobby #1 Group Break

The Hobby Football Group break is our longest running group and the one that got it all started 6 years ago. It's a break that gives you the opportunity for cards from your team from a range of hobby boxes from mid range to high end boxes from the last 2-3 years. We do allow our participants to retain their team(s) from one month to the next for as long as they choose to continue. While we do get plenty of turnover as some folks flip from team to team or group to group, we also have had folks with the same team claimed for over 5 years so keep your eyes open for openings in this one as it's our most popular break! All boxes will be on Youtube and the break itself will be right here on this thread.

Facts you need to know;

Cost: $50 for 1st team and $47 for each additional team after that. Also offer Draft Slots for unclaimed teams at $20 per slot.
Payment Due Date: June 22nd
Break Date: June 29th

Guys we are short on claimed teams as well as drafted slots so I an cutting out the box of 2013 Prestige which probably wouldn't have arrived in time for the break anyway since it's still not released. If all goes well we should be able to keep the rest of the product list although we need some $20 draft slot takers if anybody is interested! Actually same goes with the rest of the breaks...nobody taking draft slots at all so if you want to join one you're not in yet just let me know.

Payment sent for both breaks and I will take a draft slot.

I can't reach Joelwil so I have to open up the Chiefs. I also can't reach 19th Century Indiana Jones so I will pick up the Seahawks from him for a one month loan. If I hear from him by the time I break he can have them back. If no word by next month they will be opened up as I can't take them for more than this month. With the fewer teams and fewer draft slots I had to eliminate the box of 2010 Plates & Patches. We are set to go as the other unpaid folks have advised that payment is on the way so we'll start the draft as soon as I can get things set up. Sorry about the late changes but after taking a month off it's been difficult to track some people down!

Time to start the draft. If after the draft concludes there is anyone who wants to grab an available team at $20 it will be first come first serve so we can hopefully still add in another box.

Break times are set for Sunday due to my son's 7th birthday party which got pushed to tomorrow night. Here is the lineup (all times are approximate and are CT);

Hobby #1: 4pm-5:30pm
Hobby #2: 5:30pm-7pm
High End: 7pm-8:45pm
Ultra High End: 9pm-10:15pm

I'll pick up the Jags and Texans at $20 per pop. Anybody want just one more team so we can add another box into the mix?

OK. Since this will get us an extra box, I'll take the Bears.

Thanks Brian. I'll add in a box of 2011 Timeless Treasures as that would match the budget. Payment next month is fine on that one...hopefully the Bears are kind to you!
